The 2.5GB 112m tape (*FMT2GB) is approx. 5.0GB with compression.
The 5.0GB 112m tape (*FMT5GB) is approx. 10.0GB with compression.
The 7.0GB 160m tape (*FMT7GB) is approx. 14.0GB with compression.

Subject: Re: Question on Tape Density, etc...
Hi Pat !
I have been doing the init as 2.5 and the tapes say they can be
2.5/5.0...
So I'm guessing that they are 2.5 that can be COMPRESSED to 5.0 ?
Thanks Pat 1
