I think based on what you have mentioned you may be specifying the right type but I'm not too up to speed on 8mm.....read below. >3) They SAY the "nominal" capacity is 2.5/5.0 Gigabytes. What is the 9427 >capable of ? The 9427 can read/write in 2GB, 5GB, and 7GB formats. I'm pretty sure in order to get 7GB you have to use 8/160 (the 160 standing for meters....) What get's interesting is that the 8/160 cannot be formatted to a lower level so it can be a pain for outbound needs. It is possible the 8/112 could be formatted both 5GB and 2GB but I don't know. I'm sure someone else hear knows the ins and outs of 8mm.... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
