The first iteration was 3.1 (CISC) or 3.6 (RISC). But the IBM product did not have security at this level. IBM's secure server was supported in subsequent OS releases for an upcharge of about $1900, but that may have changed (it may even be free). I/NET can provide a secure server (Commerce Server) for those OS releases.
