How are you going to put sizzle in it?  I mean, programming AS/400s is
about as unexciting as it gets.  No graphics, no hardware arguments, no
real religious wars beyond DOW & DOU, no  point & click, no games.  No
chance for the "Big Score" with the gazzillion dollar program, and even
though the money is good, the PC world talks of stock options, signing
bonuses in 5 figures, 6 figure salaries, and all sorts of benefits.  (Of
course the MS gulags are always overlooked.)  With the hollywood
atmosphere of PC programming, why would any bright young person choose
RPG, COBOL, & CL?
