Mark, right now I am grumpy, because I am having getting-started blues with VaRPG. But... get an evaluation copy of VisualAge RPG. You can make GUI screens easily. (I did that part real easy, and quickly.) Also it accesses data on the AS/400. I have no idea how, yet, but I know it does. The nice thing is that you are not making a screen scraper or a GUI screen. You are using RPG to make real event driven applications that don't sit waiting for the Enter key to be pressed. It would also be nice to have a good tool on the AS/400 to >develop with. -- ----------------------------------------------------------- boothm@ibm.net ----------------------------------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
