OK - so it's not REALLY a virtual tape drive connected via SNA as you
implied (ie. the capability to connect to a tape drive physically
attached to another system via an SNA connection, like virtual devices
with passthru), it's merely a tape drive with multi-host connection
feature, very common on 3490/3590 and even some 7208's.    :-)
