For the most part, the same as CLP's. Biggest difference is S/38 syntax on qualifiers (objectname.library) rather than AS/400 syntax (library/objectname). For some commands which did not get renamed in the transition, the parameters are different (usually more limited), and there are some commands which are no-ops (for example LODPGMCHG, STRCRDRDR, STRCRDWTR). To compile or run a CLP38, you must have the S/38 Environment loaded on your machine. For a complete list of the "unique" characteristics of the S/38 Environment, see the S/38 Environment Programmer's Guide/Reference. --- Dave Shaw, General Nutrition, Greenville, SC (just down the road from BMW - Bubba Makes Wheels :) The opinions expressed may not be my employer's unless I'm sufficiently persuasive... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
