If the last statement in a CL program source file is reached and no ENDPGM command is found, an ENDPGM command is assumed by the compiler. And likewise for PGM: If a PGM command is used, it must be the first command in the program source file; if a PGM command is not used, a PGM command without parameters is assumed.
