Re: FTP OPEN command error

You might try pinging the AS400 in a batch file prior to running your ftp
client.  You could redirect the output to a file and then check the
contents of the file to see if the ping was sucessful or not.  Just a thought.

try:

PING as400.dilgard.com > results.txt

Check results.txt to see if the ping was good.
