Vernon:
Dial up TCP/IP is slick, however I don't know of any device (such as a
digiboard) that will allow a single V24 (RS232) port of the AS400 to handle
more than one call at a time.  To me that is the disadvantage to SLIP, one
AS400 comm port per dial up line.  If I am wrong I'd like to know.  We have
a 32 port digi board on our NT server for dial up RAS to our internal
network and it works VERY well.
