If you are using a DOS batch file, can you do something like this?
ftp
open as400.dilgard.com
if errorlevel 20 goto IPLERROR
user userid password
bye
:IPLERROR
echo *** SYSTEM IS BEING IPL'ed AT THIS TIME ******
I think 20 is a generic error returned by FTP. I am not sure about the
DOS syntax.
