IF have the licensed SQL product
    RUNSQLSTM should run multiple statements.

ELSE
    Query management queries can be created from source, one statement per
    source member.

    You can execute multiple QM queries from a thing called a QM
    procedure. (I don't think you can use substitution variables in CL,
    though.) The command to execute one of these is STRQMPRC.

Concerning commitment and journalling, you can use an 'isolation clause'. I
just tried it on a QMQRY and it works. The isolation clause takes the form
'with nc|ur|cs|rs|rr'. Maybe that'll help things. Check the SQL reference,
chapter 4, I think.
