You should be able to run the statements using the RUNSQLSTM command and
pointing it at the source member that has the SQL statements. You can only
issue statements that do not return results (update, delete, insert into,
etc.). As for multiple statements in a single source member,  just separate
them with a semi-colon.

delete from a where z = 1;  <==Note semi-colon
delete from b where y = 2;
update c set x = 7 where w = 3;
etc.

     A question on the AS/400 query facility.

     We need to execute SQL statements through a CL program. When we run
     the CL, it gives a journalling error. any idea how to accomplish this?

     Also, we want to be able to execute multiple SQL statements from the
     same SQL source. Is this possible? How can we do this?
