Thanks to all of you who responded to my call for help on uploading an excel file to the AS/400!

I received six different methods of doing this, and I am sure they would all work just fine.  The first one I received was from Opal and was very simple, so I will re-state it here in case anyone else runs into it.  Some of the other methods look very interesting, and I will try them when I have more time.  I had a real rush deal regarding an excel file received from NASDAQ regarding over 1800 securities, so I wanted to upload the Cusip Numbers that identify these securities.

You need to first save the spreadsheet as type: FORMATTED TEXT(SPACE
DELIMITED).  This will create a *.PRN file. You should then be able to
upload the file to the AS400.

This worked and processed in seconds!  Thanks again, guys, for your quick assistance.  The value of responses like this is tremendous!
