Any topic regarding operations automation should start with Help
Systems Robot scheduler (IMHO).  They also have paging software,
message monitoring, backup monitoring, etc, etc, etc.  I will NEVER run an
AS/400 without Robot.

As for tape drives, I have 3570's.  Little slower than 3590's but alsomuch
less money.  Uncompressed, the 3570 handles 100gb and more with
compression.
