When I was consulting to a hospital, they had a similar requirement (to ensure
minimal data recovery).  I wrote a CL to detach, save (to an 8mm drive
dedicated to the function), and delete journal receivers on a periodic basis.
After the CHGJRN command you can do a RCVMSG command on the "Receiver
detached..." message to get the name for the save and delete.  Sorry, been too
long to remember the MSGID or a better description of the message -- try it
yourself!
