fan. Although I only use the AS/400 resident piece, I've seen things in the
documentation concerning PCs and I believe that might be an answer to your
entire problem.

 Unless they have discontinued it, they have a version that doesn't require
the IBM's fax board.  They have pre-packaged PC based units.
