I disagree. Their problem - and yours - is that you would prefer to rewrite the software on another platform, rather than rewrite it on the platform that works for them. We consultants play into this by telling our innocent clients just how sexy their application will be on a PC. What we don't tell them is that we're scared that our skills may be losing our market, so we would prefer to learn a new platform than to make the present one work the way it was designed. Blame it on the client all you want. They are paying you big bucks to be the expert, not a rubber stamp.
