Just curious whether you had tried the RSTOBJ ... SEQNBR() option for
restoring the QHST files.  I know I read a lot of nasty rumors that
this cannot be done, but I used to do it frequently.  I have also 
restored other objects from QSYS library in the past.  The fact is,
that SAVSYS _does_an_under-the-covers_SAVLIB after writing the microcode,
etc.  Have faith, and give it a try.  I think you'll be pleased.
