Hi, Viv:

You need to specify SEQNBR() on the RSTOBJ command. If memory serves
correctly, I believe the sequence number is 3 for lib. QSYS on a SAVSYS
operation. To be sure, you can mount the tape and do DSPTAP.....
look for 'File label" = QSYS. The first file written to the tape are
is the microcode (so that the tape can be used to boot the system).

I hope this helps.

Subject: Restoring QHST* files.

This may be a simple question! Does anyone know how to
restore the QHST* files from a SAVSYS? We've tried RSTOBJ
but as the save command was SAVSYS this doesn't seem to
work? Any ideas?

regards

Viv
