Jeff,

As a follow-up to my last message, the card we are using is from:
I-Data
250-V Executive Dr.
Edgewood, NY 11717
(516)243-6600

It is the "ida PS-03/13 MIO" and is a interface card that plugs into the HP
LaserJet family. To quote from the Installation and Operator's Guide it
supports: Token Ring (there may be an Ethernet Version), TCP/IP, ICDS
(don't know what ICDS is) and IPDS emulating an IBM 3812, 3816 and 4028
printers.

I can't say how good it is, I'm not directly involved in its use, but at
least it's a start.

In no way am I affiliated with this company, just happened to see that one
of my clients was using it to make an HP5Si look like an IPDS printer.
