Sounds like they applied their $70 rebate directly. This is a competitive rebate, and at the $74 price you can get VA for Java for at ProVantage, the end result is $4! This is if you already have Visual J++, Cafe, etc. I'm planning on getting MS' Visual Studio, which contains VC++, VB, VJ++, & VFox, at least, since I already have earlier versions of VC++ & VB, for a cost, after version upgrade rebate, of $319. Then I'll apply the VA for Java rebate.

Sounds a little like coupon clipping, eh?  :-)  Oh, well.
