Just a really crazy idea--why can't we? Look, I've not done this myself, and I'm sure there are all kinds of problems but...why not preload the 19 and position cursor in the third position? It can be done with cursor positioning stuff in the display file. Then the user can 'cross out' the 19 if it's wrong.

Eh?
