Replacing ECS-modems -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Has anybody tried replacing the standard IBM ECS-modems with US
Robotics, Multitech or some other standard modem?
If so, any special DIP-switch settings or special AT-commands stored to
the modem?

(I did it myself, but it was 6-7 years ago. New technology flourish  -
as opposed to my memory...)
