If you are on a RISC system, and have the system value QDYNPTYSCD set to '1', the default, the system essentially ignores the priorities you set, and uses it's own. First of all, it was never enforced, and secondly it was withdrawn on the biggest hitter products long ago. Although user based pricing is was we (the user community) asked IBM for, it was exactly what we asked for, and it probably was a mistake. I think before we pass jusgement on IBM, we need to see the new model structure, and how it lays on top of the tier structure.
