Re: Gateway vs IBM PCs -Reply

These clones are great for home use...(I have one myself)... I would
never recommend in a corporate environment... especially if you are the
one that has to maintain them...  stick with Compaq, IBM and HP and you'll
save money in the long run with consistency and being able to work on
them next month....  It's our job to make sure they understand the whole
cost of ownership... not just startup cost....  Look at IBM's service
SystemCare    Purchase, build and maint.  in one price based on a 36
month lease with upgrade options starting at 24 months.... looks good to
us....
