Dan,

As Bob said, the indicator is specified on the F specification. This is 
your OVERFLOW indicator. However, for externally described files, the 
overflow indicator must be a numbered indicator, not the traditional OA to 
OG and OV.  So, indicator 99 can be used. In RPGIV, the keyword 
OFLIND(*IN99) is a typically use.
