Heck, I only have a two-year A.A.S. degree. After 7 years of RPG programming
experience, does a B.S. really mean any more than the other definition of it
at this point in my career?
I too have an AAS degree ... and have often considered going back to
school and getting a BS ... but then I think what I would gain from it.
Considering I've got more than 20 years of experience in the industry,

or a better job. The only benefit I can see is the knowledge that I can
An argument can be made that lack of the BS degree will exclude me from
some jobs ... but, truth be told, I wouldn't want to work for a company
that would exclude someone based on lack of a piece of paper.
Heck, the most talented people I know in the industry don't have BS degrees.
Anyways, must my $.02
System i ... for when you can't afford to be out of business
