I also remember, back in the early '80s, which half _should_ have
been tossed for most business programming positions. There wasn't
much overlap between the two.
I have much less trouble with CompSci holders in recent years. The
last three I worked with on OS/400 and i5/OS projects have worked
out very well. They were also very impressed with both hardware and
OS, given the general system sizes, workloads, etc. There were no
issues at all with disinterest and not the slightest indication that
the platform was beneath their status... once shown the world
beyond the green-screen.
