It can depend on interpretation, personal preference, whether the researcher has had his/her morning coffee yet, you name it. A number of years ago, I interviewed for a contract position through IBM in New Zealand. One question had to do with why I was willing to go to New Zealand to work. Well, I believed I was more than enthusiastic. I have long wanted to spend time there far beyond even a month's vacation. I said that a six-month contract would be far more to my liking than any kind of visit. I felt I wanted to have plenty of time to explore, to really get to absorb the country as a whole. Anyway... I followed up later with the recruiter to see why I wasn't accepted. The answer was that they were really looking for someone who could be essentially permanent. They wanted to invest on some significant education and then benefit from that a year, two years, or more later. IOW, if I'd indicated I was willing to emigrate to New Zealand, things could have been great. As it was, I wasn't 'good enough' in that qualification. Other candidates were better for the particular needs. "He's a strong RPG programmer" may be 'good', or it might be poison if Java is what's wanted.
