The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Well, with a little help from the List, I was able to measure the amount
of time it was up, by doing a MATMDATA before and after the meta-data
processing.
Once the meta-data is processed, I write the splash screen again, and
repeat for the remainder of the desired dwell-time, with one-second
WAITTIMEs between the writes. If the INVITE has been responded to, a
write will fail, throwing a catchable exception, in which case I read
the splash screen back.
If the user has pressed <Enter>, I dismiss the splash screen
immediately. If the user has pressed <Help> or any function key, I write
the screen again, and immediately read it back, causing it to dwell
until the user dismisses it with an AID key.
It's still in the prototype stage, and there's obviously the potential
for trouble if the user hits an AID key after the last write, but before
the next screen comes up.
