Where did you get ADPQTEMP from? To state that another way, where can I get it? Etienne -----Original Message----- From: Walden H. True. But for mere mortal programmers like me that don't want to live in MI-land all the time, it would be easier to call 'Adopt QTEMP': ADPQTEMP (123456/USER/JOB) Which would drop me at a command prompt. From here I could use the 'normal' OS/400 commands to work with qtemp. Things like 'WRKOBJPDM' and 'DSPLIB' and even call programs that use objects in QTEMP. I know I could screw up the other job, but I as the programmer should take that responsibility. This 'command prompt' would have a exit handler that would reset the QTEMP pointer so I can't screw up things. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
