I have been successfully using the MIMBRINF program on our v3r2 system. This program changes a source member's information, such as creation date/time, change date/time, and more. I have been using this successfully on our v3r2 system. Went to use it on a v4r5 system, but it's not working. No errors are generated. Browsed through chapter 8, then 7, of Leif's book. The reference of changing the program to a system-state caught my eye. Especially that this cannot be done on a CISC box, because the hardware prevents it. So I look at the MIMBRINF source. The reference to MIMAKPTR is in the source, and this is the source that compiled on both the v3r2 & v4r5 box. However, there is no MIMAKPTR object on either system. So, I am a bit confused. MIMBRINF apparently requires it to be system state, but it cannot be made as such on v3r2? The "Program State" on the v3r2 box is *USER. The v4r5 box is use level 40 security; the v3r2 box is using 30. Advice, please. - Dan Bale (I am *NOT* "Dale" http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200105/msg00281.html )
