[Leif Svalgaard]  MI is the "real native" language for the AS/400.
It is like assembler on other systems. There is the Old MI (for OPM)
and the New MI (for ILE). Sometimes you'll see MI referred to as TIMI.

One of the first postings to this list was an RPG program that when
run generated an interface to the MI-compiler (which BTW comes
installed on every AS/400). I'll not repeat the posting here, but
send you the program by e-mail.

You call MI programs like you would any other program.
