The word "supported" is your issue. Supported means that Infor will supply fixes to correct code issues.

Compatible with is what you may be looking for.

So that is what I will state

Any release up to R6 will be compatible up until V6R1. Some of the objects will not compile. See the Infor guide to OS 6.1 for the details.

Starting with R7.7 link manager requires certain levels of Java (see christouphs previous note) which will run OS 6.1. Through R 7.8. R9. Is good for OS 7.1

You should be having these discussions with you affiliate as the questions can really only be answered in full by INFOR.
