Ricky
I would use the logical application functions or the user definable user exits which can be added to the order entry logic
See the Enterprise Integrator help text for details

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Powerlink temporary storage
I have a requirement to edit an Customer Order Line Items as they are being entered. If they enter a certain Item Number I need to check and read through the order lines to make sure they haven't entered another Item with a different class item. Powerlink appears to only write the order line items to the database at the end of the order. Is it storing the data somewhere else besides the order file until the end the order or is it just keeping it all in memory? I have a work around by writing it to a temporary file but I would like a cleaner way of doing it if possible.
Thanks
Ricky Thompson
