You guys are seriously scaring me. We are on a model 170 at V5R2 with Mapics XAR4 and one year left on our software maintenance agreement. If we upgrade and go to a new i5 are we looking at a conversion fee in the thousands? We are a small shop with only 4 users, but were sold the *nomax licensing over 10 years ago. No doubt I should be looking at converting to another ERP system like System 2000 (from VAI) if Infor quotes something outrageous like what I have been reading. Tom Hauber Ontario Extrusions >Jeff, > >I did not mean to bash Infor, but when no one knows the algorithm for >licensing (just for a new machine at lease end), and it is all subjective to >the affiliate and/or Infor, i believed this was the forum to gather >information and experiences.
