We've been running it for about 10 years or so. There's some setup for bank records type stuff, but otherwise MAPICS creates the data file for you. We use Client Access to download the file. We did use Windows HyperTerminal and a modem, but this year the bank had us switch to a secure web transaction. The process is near identical for as long as I can remember. We don't save the nacha file as it reflects what is in payroll history, although SOX may dictate otherwise. If there's some specific questions shoot me an email off line, but bear in mind I didn't set it up. But we can always compare settings. Get the requirements from your Bank. Good luck, it's a different kind activity to test, don't use yourself!!! "Willie J. I have looked over the Mapics chapter on electronic deposit. I would like to hear from other user how they accomplished this and how they set up and transmit EDI data. Thanks for all information, William Moore _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
