<SOAPBOX OPTION(*ON) RANTMODE(*HARSH)>

I have many *choice* words for people who harvest email addresses from this
list, send me spam, and then have the #(@$&* gall to call me on the phone.
In my case, I know that somebody is getting the phone number via the email
address domain; I guess the only safe way to communicate on the MAPICS list
is to use some anonymous web-based email address.

This is how I know two vendors, Manny Gorrity
[mannygorrity@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] and Susanne States
[sstates@xxxxxxxxxxxx] (S4i Systems, Inc.) are getting my name, email
address, and phone number from a harvester: I just started in this position
two weeks ago and signed up to the MAPICS list at that time. I have no
prior MAPICS experience. I have made no other contacts specific to MAPICS.
Of course, they usually just deny knowing where they got my contact info
from; "got it from a contact list we purchase", sort of makes them less
culpable in their eyes, I guess.

So, let me be absolutely clear: Any vendor that sends me unsolicited email,
depending on my mood, will probably be out of future consideration. ANY
VENDOR THAT CALLS ME, UNSOLICITED, WILL GO ON MY PERMANENT BLACKLIST! This
is the pinnacle of inconsideration and unprofessionalism.

Grrrrrrr.
