Bonnie's email made me think I should share something we finally resolved today, with regards to scanning. We had laminated barcodes on the walls next to our terminals, the repeatability of reading these were horrible due to reflection. We even tried the matte finish laminating material without success. What finally worked was printing the barcodes on heavy-duty premium HP PHOTO paper! They're durable and wipe-able, and perform fantastic! I don't know how long they'll last, but they've been well received in the shop!
