RE: Quote entry Only

Try the credit hold codes instead of the suspend account feature.  This will
allow orders/quotes to be entered, but prevent shipments and related orders
to be executed until "released" or "approved"

My sales & accounting department are at it again.

Customers who are giving us difficulties are placed on suspend by
accounting.  NO orders of any kind can be entered.

But Sales still wants to quote the customer. Before the customer's quote
becomes an order.  Accounting maybe able to resolve any issues.  ($$$$$)

Has anyone been faced  with this issue?  How did you resolve it?  I have
faxed MAPICS a enhancement request for a special customer status code, for
quote entry only and NOT be able to copy a quote to an order.
