Tom, We don't have that particular need, but we have similar requirements that require that we examine the order after it's in the system to determine special charges and other activities. We used the end of order user exits UMBSOH2R and UMBOFL2R to examine the entire order, then do our special maintenance to the order, such as force item substitutions, auto-add comments based on what was ordered, special work with kits, and so on. We also do discounts on shipments during the pick-pack-ship process (well, actually through the OFFSHIP process) to add discounts at shipment time, so the discount is only for what was shipped. That may be more practical, depending on how you assign your surcharges - up front or at shipment time. Dale Gindlesperger IT Manager Fleetwood Folding Trailers, Inc. We would like to implement a surcharge in COM based on part weight. Anyone doing something like this or have any ideas? Thanks, Tom Wood Fort Recovery Industries _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
