REF : old vs NEW rev. levels I have helped to implement such a strategy, we used an 'ENG' site to develop the new rev level, and did not copy to the 'MFG' site until ready for release, i.e. use for MO(s). As a part of that release we have a procedure (controlled by Work flow) to address the changing of item rev effective dates. This seems to be working quite well, if you would like to discuss specifics let me know, i can be reached at 724-346-0153 or via email.
