RE: EPDM Usage

Jeff,

I agree that consistent updates do work wonders, but there
are still problems and of course accidents, miscommunications,
etc.

I am curious as to how you control stock run outs in this
environment since it impacts effectivity dates, particularly
in a variable production level environment? There are lots of
parts and no real good tools in MAPICS to tell you when to
swap the old for the new.

PS Given our recent experience with EPDM not working again I would
definitely download all available fixes for the item master, revision
path. Sad to say at our PTF2624 lots of stuff was not updating even
though status in EPDM said it was. Key notables are SH60827, SH60313,
SH60070.
