Have a look
at http://www.netshare400.com/cgi-bin/DSPSAMP?file=QCLSRC&mbr=FTPBATCH
(My site) to get an understanding of how to do it. Then look
at http://www.as400pro.com/TipsFTP2.htm#3

In Don's example I am a little confused on the RUNRMTCMD and CL FTP. I
could see one or the other but not both. You would use the RUNRMTCMD to
run a script on a PC that does not have an FTP server running on it (this
would eliminate the CL FTP)or to call a program the uses the file that you
just FTP to the PC (maybe this is what he ment).

My examples assume your PC has an FTP server running on it. If your PC is
not running an FTP server look
at http://www.netshare400.com/cgi-bin/DSPMSG?forum=FTPServ&msgid=0000005
and then you would use the RUNRMTCMD.
