First, 0.17.4 works fine.
The reason I was working with 0.17.3 is because the Windows installer
is 0.17.3, and that has the problem. So my mental image of what is
current is skewed by that. I looked in NEWS, README and ChangeLog to
try to see if I missed spotting that 0.17.4 was released to source,
but I didn't see any references.
I guess I'd ask that the Windows download be changed to use 0.17.4,
and maybe a note somewhere as to which version of the source is
current for those of us CVS newbies :-)
