which folder does the .tn5250rc file need to be in?
$ man tn5250rc
The global tn5250rc file may be overridden by the user's ~/.tn5250rc
file.
While I didn't see in there where the global file should be, it does show the location of the .tn525rc file. ~/ being the user's home directory. I've never actually used a global configuration file.
