Hello Holger,
I would like to be able to create a menu item for xt5250 (or x5250) but this is tricky if I have to add a host to the command line. That is not tricky at all. You can always use tools like Kommander to wrap the call of tn5250 into a nice dialog that allows you to select various options. Kommander is for KDE, but you could also do something with a little shell script and "dialog" or "whiptail". http://kommander.kdewebdev.org --
Thanks for this, very useful. As the xt5250 does allow a host to be entered if one is not on the command line, I have used this rather than the tn5250 and it works fine. Adding this to the panel solves my problem. Regards, Andrew
