Getting started...

O.k., I have joined the brother(/sister)hood.

Scott said I didn't have to worry about this icky Linux stuff, since there
is a Windoze version somewhere.  (Hey, I can only work with what I got, ok?
<g>)  Where is it (code, compile objects, etc.)?  Do I need a compiler?  If
yes, which?  Found the sourceforge site.  No reference to Windoze seen
(intentional???)
