Jeff the problem is - that you're going from an Oracle installer - to just placing the JDK/jre and setting the Env variables yourself.

It's that simple with the open jre..

You still have all that ....\Java\javapath....that their(oracle's) installer put in there - you need to loose that...

This is what mine looks like..

JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk8u192-b12\bin

path has this near the top C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk8u192-b12\bin - cannot paste it all as it's in a window..

I assume you have not removed the Oracle JDK's/JRE's yet..

First, thank you.

This change needs to be as simple/seamless as possible. Any environment
variables/paths/etc will need to be done on every PC. One of the beautiful
things about ACS was that everything is contained in the ACS folder and
subfolders. Now that is (apparently) changing.

My environment variable for Path is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\Program Files
(x86)\NVIDIA
Corporation\PhysX\Common;C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\ibmdebug\bin;C:\WDSC;C:\Program
Files (x86)\Intel\iCLS Client\;C:\Program Files\Intel\iCLS
Client\;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program
Files\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\DAL;C:\Program
Files\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\IPT;C:\Program Files
(x86)\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\DAL;C:\Program Files
(x86)\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\IPT;C:\Program Files
(x86)\Intel\OpenCL SDK\3.0\bin\x86;C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\OpenCL
SDK\3.0\bin\x64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client
Access\Emulator;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access\Shared;C:\Program
Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\110\Tools\Binn\

I have never ever touched that manually and shudder to think of doing so
now.

That's nothing like mine.

acsbundle.jar is in my ACS folder, but the acslaunch_win-XX.exe files
are in separate subfolders.
I copied the exe files to the root of my ACS directory.
